Our story

Our story begins with founder Jack Laughlin working on the so-called “returns problem” at a large e-commerce company. After searching far and wide, Jack discovered that the vast majority of high-quality returned merchandise was being thrown in the trash. Incensed at this enormous sustainability problem with no buyer and no measurable solution, Jack decided to do something about it.

That’s when BinStar was born.
